ELIMINATE BUGS, DECREASE USER-FRICTION & ADD FUNCTIONALITY

Volunteer Kansas, a non-profit organization in Wichita, KS, hired because the platform their data-based driven website was currently built in was being phased out. Volunteer Kansas is an online clearing house for volunteer opportunities all over Kansas.

We had many goals, including creating a clear user path for each type of user: Volunteers and Charities.

Other goals were to create a new platform that solved age-old bugs and removed all instances of user-friction, while adding functionality to make the platform even better for users.

Additionally, we created an app that the administrator can use to interact with the database to perform daily tasks easily and with fewer clicks and keystrokes.

Believing so heartily in volunteerism, we were pleased to be part of this task, and even donated a large number of hours towards the completion of the project as a way of giving back.
